Last Monday was the ROEM project kick-off and production-readiness meeting at Octal Corporation in New Jersey, USA.
We introduced the production processes and resources to Elbit Systems Israel and Elbit America representatives. Those include a new dedicated room for motor assembly and testing and the supporting equipment.
The production of the ROEM motors in Octal is a joint Gevasol effort – Bental developed the motors and provides engineering support to Octal’s activity.
Gevasol India manufactures the ROEM’s rotors and stators (also supported by Bental) and passed a successful quality audit by Elbit last Thursday.
The first Motors will be supplied to Elbit USA at the end of Jan-2023. The Next step is the production of Dolomite drives in Octal with GFT‘s engineering support; it is projected for June 2023.
